[ 05 ] Inigo Manglano - Ovalle Catalog
Edited by Dora Apel, foreword by Gregory Wittkopp
Essays by Irene Hofmann and Anna Novakov
This exhibition catalog explores a body of work by Chicago-
based artist Inigo Manglano-Ovalle, recipient of a 2001
MacArthur Foundation Fellowship. In large-scale installations,
Manglano-Ovalle engages the iconic modernist architecture
of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe as sites for a variety of filmed scenarios that function as provocative social and political
metaphors. Included are essays by curator Irene Hofmann
and art historian Anna Novakov. |
