With critical awareness, Jane Lackey has produced a body of
artworks that image the codes of physical being through the
processes of the studio. Her materials range from fabrics,
cork to printed pages in her exploration of the intangibility of
codes, language, and the humanity they attempt to convey.
Jane Lackey is the current Artist-in-Residence at Cranbrook
Academy of Art’s Fiber Department.
