At Cranbrook Academy of Art’s annual spring symposium in
April 2000, a group of distinguished artists gathered to present
their work. Richard DeVore, Ruth Duckworth, Tony Hepburn,
John Mason, and Ron Nagel have all made significant
contributions to vessel-based ceramics and ceramic sculpture
since the 1960’s. This documentary expands the symposium
with personal interviews and images of the artists’ work.
